Pneumatic Transportation System

     This downward-moving positive-pressure high-density pneumatic transportation system with pumping-chamber is developed by many years’ effort of Asia Engineering.

The features of this system are:

High stability during operation;
No limit to the shape of material being conveyed;
No sticking of material to the tube wall, for the material start to move from static condition, and the wall is subjected to continuous air flushing of compressed air;
The operation is smooth and uniform, almost no trace of material will staying up in the chamber, since the material in chamber is pushed downward by air pressure on top and sucked out by vacuum from bottom, and the material is well mixed with the compressed air.

Working principle

  The solid materials being conveyed are stored in their respective intermediate silos. The filter on top of each silo is connected to its exhausting fan, creating negative pressure in the silo; prevent dusts from emitting out from the silo.

  The material that is going to be transported is falling down from bottom of its intermediate silo into the downward-moving chamber A by opening or closing of their respective pneumatic pre-shutoff valve and inlet valve. At this moment the vent valve in the chamber A opens to let the dusty air go to the intermediate silo on top of the chamber A. When the level probe in the chamber A emits signal that the level of the contents is up to the desired value or after specified time, (time mode), the compressed air will come into the chamber A and into circular clearance of a Venturi tube. The solid material is well mixed with air here. The mixture is moving inside a DN80 pipeline in positive pressure and high-density, and from here with multi-discharging-lines to convey a number of solid materials to remote destinations, that are, a number of silos.

This system can have a number of solid materials be transported to remote silos with one set of pumping chamber.

The whole process is automatically controlled by PLC, no manual operation at all.
